Regulatory Specialist
Develop, coordinate and manage the regulatory priorities, policies and programs of a statewide association. Priorities include building codes, environmental land use, permitting and other issues affecting the construction industry. Specialist interacts with various regulatory agencies and serves as primary liaison to the Regulatory Affairs Analysis Subcommittee and its work groups. Advises Director of Government Affairs and other decision makers on strategies that will best implement the regulatory goals and objectives of the association. Present information/ education sessions to membership on policies and positions on regulatory matters.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in an environmental or engineering discipline and a minimum of five years of experience with responsibility for regulatory compliance, or five years of experience in state government with responsibility for development of or implementation of regulations or policies affecting residential construction, is preferred.
Some travel is required.
