Job Title: Member Services Coordinator Reports to: UWP President Goals: 1) Enhance UWP’s member services 2) Advance a collaborative approach among local United Ways in PA 3) Cultivate and maintain relationships with local UW staff 4) Help PA United Ways maximize the benefit of their UWW membership Responsibilities: Lead planner for UWP statewide annual conference – includes staffing the ad hoc conference planning committee Coordinate and plan bi-monthly webinar trainings – identify pertinent topics, secure speakers, and promote educational opportunities to targeted audiences Lead planner for UWP’s statewide Tocqueville reception – includes staffing the Tocqueville planning committee Coordinate nomination and selection process for Keystone Spirit of United Way award Implement regional meetings – organize regions, develop a calendar for dates, develop standard agenda for each meeting, work with hosts to handle site logistics Work with UWP Public Policy and Communications Manager to support logistics for UWP Hill Day and other advocacy events Be the hub/expert on Zoom webinar software and support the rest of the office Maintain member support and training/education functions offered via UWP’s members only web site Learn United Way Worldwide training resources and connect members to them – proactively and upon request Secure sponsorships for UWP Annual Conference Assist UWP President in securing sponsorships for the statewide Tocqueville reception First point of contact for member information requests Other duties as assigned by the UWP President Minimum Requirements: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience Proficient event planner Strong oral and written communication Some overnight travel is required This position is a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
