The foundation was created to support and promote nonprofit organizations and trade associations through recognition programs, professional development programs, public confidence in nonprofits and the development of the next generation of donors, board members, employees and volunteers. The PASAE Foundation is accepting nominations for two awards to be presented in December.
The Scott D. Jackson Leadership Award will be presented to an individual for his or her contributions and support to the association industry. The successful candidate must meet the following criteria
- Must be a member of an Association Executive leadership team
- Must have 10 years of service in the field
- Must be nominated by his or her association or a peer or any PASAE Member
- Must have demonstrated a commitment to PASAE (leadership, event participation, statesmanship, and mentor)
Application Deadline for receiving nominations is October 1.
The Scott D. Jackson Emerging Leader Award will be presented to an individual who has the recognized potential to become an association leader. This award provides opportunities for professional growth, expanded professional networking, and expanded professional contribution to PASAE. The successful candidate must meet the following criteria
- Work for an Association that is a member
- Must have been employed in the association for at least three years and under five years
- Can be nominated by their CEO or a peer or any PASAE Member
- Must have a demonstrated commitment to advancing their career as an association professional through leadership, professional development, demonstrating potential for advancement, adding value to their association, and demonstrates maturity and outstanding performance.
- Willing and able to serve as the Scott Jackson Emerging Leader for one year
Application Deadline for receiving nominations is October 1.
The focus of the PASAE Foundation Scholarship Fund is to provide financial assistance to individuals working in the association management profession in Pennsylvania who are interested in enhancing their professional skills. Monetary awards up to $500.00 will be provided to individuals attending educational programs that address professional development and provide continuing education opportunities. The scholarships can be used at a community college or four year college or university. The scholarships may also be used to fund CAE/CMP study courses or seminars. More details can be found on the application.
