Associations of the Future

 1 CAE Credit Hour
CAE Domanin 7: Knowledge Management & Research

A key role of an Association Executive is to monitor big shifts that could change the way your association functions and perhaps even impact the type of services you need to deliver to association members.

The ASAE Foundation’s new research program is designed to help association leaders handle these kinds of challenges. The foundation’s #ForesightWorks research project provides key information on current business and association trends and empowers leaders to create a “culture of foresight” within their organizations. Plan to join this interactive session where attendees will discuss and interpret the most current “futures” information from the program. Be prepared to discuss ideas of how the change drivers identified might impact associations of the future.

Learning Objectives:

  • Become familiar with the ASAE Foundation #ForesightWorks trends resources
  • Discuss and interpret a few key trends to determine the impact how you deliver services to your association’s members.
  • Potentially identify new services to offer in the future (or services that may no longer be a viable to continue)
