The recent Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 has received a lot of press over recent months regarding its impact on businesses and individuals. However, it will also impact nonprofits in many ways. Our session will provide an overview of how the new law will impact your nonprofit organization.

- To provide insight on how you can prepare your nonprofit organization for this impact

Speaker
James is a Partner with Hamilton & Musser, P.C. (twenty-eight years) and is also an Associate Professor of Accounting at Messiah College (thirty-two years). Jim works extensively with non-profit organizations and governmental entities in the Central Pennsylvania region through his firm, and has been a presenter at many area conferences on various topics affecting these organizations. Over the past fifteen years Jim has also traveled to Ukraine, the Philippines, Ghana, Senegal and the Dominican Republic with Hope International and World Vision to conduct fraud prevention seminars and internal control analysis as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). Jim and his wife, Jackie, reside in Dillsburg, PA and are the parents of three grown children.
