Job Title: Vice President, Meetings and Industry Relations Vice President, Meetings and Industry Relations - The Vice President, Meetings and Industry Relations, will be a key executive within the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods (NFRA) organization, responsible for directing the meeting planning activities of the Association, as well as developing/nurturing important industry relationships and managing integrated marketing programs that support NFRA’s organizational mission to increase the overall sales and consumption of frozen and refrigerated foods. Additionally, the Vice President, Meetings and Industry Relations, as a member of the executive leadership team, will work closely with the President/CEO, as well as the Communications, Events and Membership areas of the organization: to develop strategic initiatives; identify opportunities for growth and improvement in member service; contribute to the decision making process regarding operational policies and objectives; and ensure the long-term effectiveness of the organization as a whole. Responsibilities
Relationships Reports directly to President/CEO. Reports to, serves and communicates with, the Board of Directors. Works with professional counsel (legal). Manages internal staff. Requirements The Vice President, Meetings and Industry Relations should be an individual with excellent organizational leadership skills and superior interpersonal skills – a confident professional who brings creativity, vision, energy and stability to the position.
Education and Experience A minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible association management background, with meeting planning and marketing experience. Bachelor’s degree.
