During this presentation, you'll learn about how to determine who's the best fit and preparing them for the interviews. You will learn three new people that can help you deliver the messages with your internal and external audiences. Come ready to listen, interact, and learn how you can be a spokesperson for your organization.

Speaker

  Sabrina Kidwai, APR, CAE, MPA, has been involved in public relations for 16 years and is currently the senior manager of public relations at ASAE. She handles both external and internal communications as well as the video strategy for the organization. Previously, she served as media relations manager for the Association for Career and Technical Education for almost five years. She was responsible for managing all of ACTE’s media activities. She is the president of the National Capital Chapter Public Relations Society of America and has served on the board for 9 years. From January until June 2017, she was president-elect. She served as treasurer in 2016 and was the co-chair for the 2014 International Conference for PRSA. From 2007-09, she served as co-chair for the PRONet committee coordinating and planning monthly events. She is an alumnus of the IEL Education Policy Fellowship Program in Washington, DC. Before joining ACTE, she served as media relations director for a small non-profit in South Carolina, and she worked as an account manager for a high-tech public relations firm. Sabrina received her Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of South Carolina.
