March Taste of Success Webinar: Debriefing to Win – An Introduction

Presenter/Speaker: Robert “Cujo” Teschner

Presentation Description: Teamwork done right is powerful. Central to teamwork done right is being able to execute team accountability correctly. Accountability practiced without blame or shame. Accountability practiced with a forward-focus, leading to consistent improvement.

High-performance teams understand the power of this kind of accountability, and practice is extremely well. Accountability is truly the glue that keeps a team working together the right way, and through all sorts of disruptions.

Robert “Cujo” Teschner, a St. Louis-based international keynote speaker and leadership trainer knows how to talk about teams and accountability. He was the U.S. Air Force Subject Matter Expert on the practice of team accountability during his time as an instructor at the USAF Fighter Weapons School.

Through this uplifting, motivational talk, Cujo will teach what it is that allows a group of people to transform into a team. He’ll teach the “Teamwork Operating System” used by front-line high-performance teams to win through disruption. He’ll also teach the tenets of positive, forward-focused accountability practiced by winning teams known as “Debriefing”.

Most importantly, Cujo will explain how it is that we can embrace the process of “Debriefing to Win” to help us in our work. He’ll show that any team can become a high-performance team. In short, Cujo will motivate us to learn to Debrief to Win in the work we’re doing in 2021, helping us to achieve our goals and become stronger in the process!

Taste of Success is a lunch-and-learn seminar-style event hosted mid-day monthly at a PASAE Member hotel, conference center, or restaurant. Since we take a few months off in the summer and winter, there are usually 6-7 of these events each year. With the pandemic, these events have been made available virtually so members are able to continue to connect with continuing education credit opportunities.

The agenda is usually the same for each Taste of Success event:
  • Connecting and networking with fellow Members
  • Lunch and conversation with those at your table
  • Presentation on association management relevant topic from top-notch speaker
  • Question & Answer period with presenter

This model was prescriptively designed by your fellow Members to: (1) allow you to sample the food & experience the service/hospitality of a different Member, (2) meet, connect with, and enjoy the company of your fellow professionals, (3) learn – be better tomorrow than you were today.
