Session Title: A Kaleidoscope View: Creative Perspective Taking for HR and Leadership

Session Description: 

Psychological safety is developed when team members consider the perspective of others. Whether it is your colleagues or your clients, understanding the perspectives of others will help you not only be better at your jobs but also be a better ally for justice in the workplace. This session, which is backed by brain science, shows that seeing things from another perspective is critical for inclusion, creativity and innovation.  Perspective taking is also required for building an inclusive culture of psychological safety.

Attendees will:

• Reflect on how clients/team member perspectives and their own perspective’s may differ;
• Learn how to implement various perspective strategies to strengthen their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies and outlook; and
• Integrate communication and questioning strategies to acknowledge difference perspectives.

This session is worth 1.0 CAE and 1.0 CMP credit.
