Individual Excellence AwardsDo you know a PASAE member who exemplifies leadership and supports the association’s commitment to advancing excellence and innovation? Nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 Scott D. Jackson Leadership Award and the 2026 Julie Sullivan Award. Scott D. Jackson Leadership AwardOver 30 years ago, Scott D. Jackson, who believed in the collective power of associations, joined with his peers and conceived what is known as the Pennsylvania Society for Association Excellence. In honor of Scott and his efforts to uplift the association industry, PASAE bestows the honor of this award to an association professional who exemplifies Scott’s leadership skills and all that he embodied in the association space.
Current association and professional PASAE members may submit nominations for this award. Julie Sullivan AwardThe Julie Sullivan Award is named as a memorial to one of PASAE's most energetic and enthusiastic supporters. Julie joined PASAE in 1990 and jumped right in as an active and involved member. She was also very involved in the PASAE Foundation. Additionally, she helped to develop what is now our Sponsorship Program. Julie was also involved in her community – volunteering was one of her passions. Along with PASAE, Julie dedicated a lot of time to the Ronald McDonald House and the Junior League. As the owner of Honeydew Events, she had numerous clients who relied on her to make their events perfect. On a personal level, Julie was a warm, caring, friendly, compassionate, and outgoing person. Each year, PASAE recognizes a Business Partner who has best supported the association’s commitment to advance excellence and innovation in the practice of leading-edge association management. Nominees must be current PASAE business supplier members.
